We discuss a wide variety of topics including the shifting crop landscape in North Dakota, the different crops he's worked with, how drought seems to be following him, and the different pests and diseases in his Accountability Region.

In the latest podcast I discuss who has the best chance at picking up more than 2" of snow, the potential for snow to affect the football game and for light icing issues in southeast Nebraska. It will be a cold Halloween and then turn mild as we head into later next week.

In the latest episode Dr. Jackson Ziems and Kyle Broderick join to talk about the different bacterial and fungal diseases that affected corn in Nebraska this year, including Northern Corn Leaf Blight, Goss's Wilt, Gray Leaf Spot, and Tar Spot, which has now spread as far west as south central Nebraska. Good discussion on the difficulty in determining the difference between some diseases with just our eyes and the proper management/treatment of said diseases.
